These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Booqings. By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using Booqings, you agree to these terms.
1. The Booqings service
Booqings provides tools that help artisans and studios offer services, manage availability, accept bookings, and communicate with customers. Booqings is a technology platform; it does not provide the underlying beauty, wellness, creative, or other services offered by an artisan.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you create an account or use Booqings on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
3. Artisan responsibilities
Artisans are responsible for their services, pricing, availability, customer communications, tax obligations, licences, permits, refunds, cancellations, and compliance with applicable laws. Artisans must keep booking information accurate and must not use Booqings to offer unlawful, unsafe, misleading, or infringing services.
4. Customer bookings
A booking is an arrangement between the customer and the artisan. The artisan is responsible for providing the booked service and for communicating any booking requirements, cancellation policies, deposits, changes, or refunds. Customers should review the artisan's booking details before confirming an appointment.
5. Payments and fees
Some bookings may require a reservation fee or full payment. Payment processing may be provided by third parties. Fees, payment timing, and eligibility depend on the booking and payment method shown at checkout. Booqings may deduct disclosed platform or processing fees where applicable. A payment confirmation does not make Booqings the provider of the underlying artisan service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Booqings, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or copy its content at scale, introduce harmful code, impersonate another person, send spam, or use the service in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
7. Content and feedback
You retain ownership of content you submit to Booqings. You grant us a limited licence to host, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service in accordance with your settings and applicable law. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Booqings available and useful, but the service may be updated, interrupted, or changed from time to time. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse of the platform.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Booqings is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every booking, payment, message, or integration will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Booqings is not responsible for an artisan's services, customer conduct, booking disputes, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
10. Ending access
You may stop using Booqings at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for Booqings or others, or where required by law. Provisions that should reasonably continue after termination will continue to apply.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Nigeria, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Any dispute should first be raised with Booqings support so that we have a fair opportunity to resolve it.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated terms. For questions, contact support@booqings.com.
